And today I had another crazy idea. But whenever I have one, I remember the film critic’s advice to filmmaker Guido Anselmi, who is suffering from director’s block, in 8½. It goes like this:
“Why piece together the tatters of your life, the vague memories, the faces, the people you never knew how to love?”
On my way to work. The usual route and familiar faces inside the bus. In the middle of the journey a teenager boarded the bus. He found a seat and was smiling at someone in the street. It was a girl, who responded all blushing. They were talking to each other with eyes. The bus started moving but not on enough speed to put a halt to those glances.
Winning Oscar awards, Nobel prize, the FIFA world cup or being American president or Pope or even British Prime minister doesn’t mean a thing if you missed those glances in life. For they are sincere and genuinely heartfelt.
Day-off from work and woke up late. Watched Manchester United beat Tottenham Hotspur, later went to temple and this happened:
I saw Her again.
She saw me .
Of that I’m sure.
It’s a little bit funny this feeling inside,
I’m not one of those who can easily hide.
You’re beautiful. You’re beautiful.
You’re beautiful, it’s true.
And I don’t know what to do.
Thank you Elton John and James Blunt for the lyrics.
Few days ago at office cafeteria was having snacks with my colleagues . One among my colleague was married with a kid. She was worried that the company may transfer her to another state. And she said, “If they do it then will take my son and will go to wherever they wanted me to.”
“Son” was the first thing that came from her mouth. It was a realisation of a woman’s unconditional love. She didn’t think about herself but just her son.
And it’s true Men can never be like Woman. Take a bow all Mothers in this world and through you all we learn ‘Unconditional Love’.
I will find a better Job,
I will meet someone again,
I will be a better son
I will meet from my friends again,
I will travel around the world,
I will be honest and sincere to myself,
I will have no regrets when I die,
You walked into my store one day,
Your face registered in my memory,
Mind you there are thousands of images stored there,
But yours got stuck there.
I don’t know Your name,
Neither your situation.
And I saw You again,
I know You smiled at me,
It helped melt the fire in my Heart.
Maybe You will never know,
I am in Love with you.
Sun ready to cast it’s web,
Moon hurrying up to clock out
Stray dogs disappearing into their hide-outs,
Street slowly coming alive with few human beings,
Yet I am in my bed,
Waiting for her,
Where are you my dear Sleep?
